Counselling has historically been, and continues to be, financially inaccessible for many people. This is particularly true among queer/trans and neurodivergent individuals. An autism diagnosis often disqualifies people from accessing pathways to therapy, and where free counselling is provided, it's often with counsellors who lack nuanced understanding of neurodivergence or queer communities.
I run an ongoing fundraising initiative to provide free therapy to marginalised groups. I currently have one space available (as of August 2024). The offer includes 12 sessions of completely free therapy, delivered weekly either online or in-person in Farnham, Surrey.
